When my sister got engaged and told me she would be moving to Washington, away from her Newport Beach life, I knew I wanted to give her something special to remind her of her home. After finding a free old surfboard online, I started the 3 week long process of stripping it down in order to make something new and beautiful for her home, with the help of my son, Theo.
The final result turned out just as I imagined!
