HEART & HOME
A non-profit that supports foster families and the vulnerable youth in Orange County & Los Angeles County. I partnered with them for three years as their Marketing Director doing all things design and branding related.
LOGO
They were not happy with their current logo, they wanted something more sophisticated, less childish than their original logo. I started with the branding by creating a logo to set our vision for the look and feel of the Heart & Home for Kids non-profit and provided them with a brand guideline chart. We looked at their non-profit from a holistic perspective and didn’t miss a detail, addressing branding, website design, messaging (written and non-verbal, addressing the tone of the brand with types of photos to be used on their website and social media). In the end they were very pleased to have branding that aligned with their values and vision for their non-profit.
Merchandise
Heart & Home for Kids expressed a vision of having a merchandise line to support the funding of their non-profit. I conducted research on the types of designs their demographic would be attracted to and developed a line of clothing to fit their needs.
Website
Since the non-profit already had an existing website, I was able to update with the new branding and expand their website to include more than a homepage. We developed several pages for them as well as connected email marketing.

The Foster Closet Design
Next I was asked to conceptualize, draw out a design, and manage the restoration and renovation of a Streamline Countess Trailer to be turned into a mobile Clothing Store to let foster children shop for clothing items and school supplies, free of charge. Although this was, at the time, out of my scope of work, I agreed to the task.
DESIGN PLANS
First, I drew out and rendered an at scale digital layout of the trailer and provided a design concept and vision board for the design elements. Once approved, we moved forward with the build. I acted as the designer and manager for the build of the project, overseeing the volunteer builders and tradespeople.

Upon completion, I provided professional photography and video of the closet to promote on their website and social media.
